@01:45ohh, i´d love to see the "full fledged" version - even if it´s only a short film of, like, 5 minutes or so. (i know animation is incredibly much work...)
everything seems so mysterious, it really looks like creme de la creme of fantasy - just related enough so you have a starting point but also so .. strange and wonderous, that it takes you into a different realm
thanks for sharing your idea about all this (the general one and the special behind the scene thoughts you wrote in your reply!)
@02:02I love the concept of the story and the fluid movements of the animals but I didn't really get the whole thing...is there a continuation or something?
@02:09amazingly well drawn and animated, this would be so cool made into an actual production, I say we get a time machine, travel back in time, and make Mr. Disney make a Disney classic with this!
An ancient castle, crumbling and overgrown, is home to strange animal-like people.
This was my classical film made in 4 months, during my time at Vancouver Film School. All of the animation was hand drawn, and inked with a crowquill pen.
I decided to make it somewhat in the style of a movie trailer because I wanted to get across the style, emotions, and feelings of a much larger story condensed into a short time period... It's a story I've been working with for a long time, and this felt like a good opportunity to get it animated.
make the whole story i wanted to know what happpen in the begining if this is only a trailer then make it a story and uses parts if ya need 2 <3 in other words i love it and i give it 10 stars
@01:45looks like a teaser to me - exciting and beautiful, very creative and otherworldly! tho without further information it leaves so many things open:
what place is this castle? how did the wolfgirl get there?
@01:45Haha! Yeah, it's basically a trailer-thing. One day I would really really liek to do more.
The wolfgirl has been there for a long time. The castle is very old, and has been there for much longer. The Knight... well. He's just passing through.

And, I love the credit music too... Its very pretty.
There are lots of good animation schools out there, I'm sure you can find one in the states.
Thanks and best of luck!
